How to check your vaccination record in Australia

You may have already had recommended vaccines.
These could be from childhood, school programs, work, or travel.
All of these can be recorded in the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).

What is the Australian Immunisation Register?

The AIR is a national register.
It records vaccines given to people of all ages in Australia.

It includes vaccines given:

  • Under the National Immunisation Program

  • Through school vaccination programs

  • Privately, such as flu vaccines or travel vaccinations

How to check your immunisation record

You can access your record in a few simple ways.

Online via Medicare

  • Log in through myGov

  • Link Medicare to your myGov account

  • Download or view your Immunisation History Statement

Using the myGov mobile app

  • Open the app

  • Go to Medicare

  • Select Immunisation History

By phone

  • Call 1800 653 809

  • Available Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
